New Technology!
USA Trains latest offering. The NW2 switcher. Also, the new metal roof adorning the new USA Trains all steel boxcars.
Soo #54 continues...The Kalamazoo 0-4-0, Soo Line set came with a caboose and flat car with logs. The engine has given me many years of enjoyment. This engine (unlike the 0-4-0 with slope back tender) seems to be closer to 1:24 scale. Although similar, The cab height is slightly higher and the drivers a little smaller then the engine with the tender.
The Kalamazoo 0-4-0 with slope back tender was giving a fresh coat of black paint and lettered for the Great Northern. Woodland Scenic Dry Transfers were used for the GN herald and numbering. Although Kalamazoo (now Hartland Locomotive Works) never claimed a scale, the 0-4-0 here along with the 4-4-0 seems closer to 1:32 scale where the 0-4-0 in Soo line (and work train) livery were closer to 1:24.
