Netscape 3
When you bring up Netscape 3 you see a menu bar atop the Netscape window.
It will have:
File Edit View Go Bookmarks Options Directory Window Help
You should use the mouse to click on Options. This will bring down a
menu containing:
General Preferences
Mail and News Preferences
Network Preferences
Security Preferences
etc.
You should click on Network Preferences. This will bring up the preferences
window. There will be a bunch of tabs on top of the window. The last tab
will be languages, click on that tab.
Then there will be two white boxes next to Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
Click on the box next to Enable JavaScript so it is checked or x'ed.
Netscape
Communicator
When you bring up Netscape Communicator you see a menu bar atop the screen.
The last item in the edit pull down menu is edit preferences.
Select that and a box will come up on the screen. On the left
side of the box will be various preferences you can edit. The last
one is advanced. Click on advanced
preferences and you will see the enable javascript option appear.
Click on the check box and you should be able to use this tool.
Internet
Explorer
If you have internet explorer 4 or better javascripting
seems to be automatic. Otherwise it probably just won't work.
